In order to do a good job in the application for the National Social Science Fund in 2025 and improve the quality of the application, the School of Physical Education held a summary meeting of the experience of the 2024 National Social Science Fund application and a mobilization meeting for the 2025 application on October 23. The party and government leadership team and all teachers of the college attended the meeting, which was chaired by Vice Dean TuGenglong.

Dean Xu Xuchuan pointed out that the National Social Science application and project approval are of great significance for the improvement of personal scientific research ability, career development, and discipline construction of the college. He encouraged teachers who have not yet been approved to continue working hard, refine their application forms, and suggested that applied teachers should choose topics as early as possible according to the requirements of the National Social Science application, scientifically demonstrate, and contributed to the high-quality development of the college andschool.

Tu Genglong reviewed the application situation of the National Social Science Fund in 2024, analyzed the existing problems, conveyed the spirit of the school's 2025 National Social Science Fund application conference, and encouraged teachers to actively apply for the National Social Science Fund in 2025. He clearly stated that the college will continue to support teachers' applicationwork.

Professor Yu Lan used the 2024 National Social Science Project "Research on the Supply of Community Public Sports Services with Virtual Reality Integration" as an example to share her experience in application and writing from the aspects of topic selection, research content, and research foundation. She suggested that when selecting topics, one should follow national policies, consider interdisciplinary integration, carefully read the latest literature, and combine their own researchdirection.

The convening of this application mobilization and experience exchange meeting marked the official launch of the 2025 National Social Science Fund application work for the School of Physical Education. Next, the college will urge the applicants to determine the topic as soon as possible, invite experts from both inside and outside the school to conduct centralized discussions, and ensure the smooth progress of the applicationwork.
