——Young teachers' symposium of school of sports for May 4thmovement

A young teachers' symposium with the theme of “dedicate ourselves in education, promote growth of the youth” was held in room 106 on April 29, 2020. The purpose of the symposium is to commemorate the 101st anniversary of the May 4th movement, propagate May 4th spirit, promote the growth and development of young teachers, understand the situation of young teachers in thinking, learning, working and living, and listen to the constructive opinions of young teachers on the development of school of sports. Leaders attending the symposium included: Xu xuchuan (Dean of the school of sports), Zhan Xinhuan (Vice Dean), Zhu Yakun (Vice Dean), Wan Xiaoming (Vice Dean) and 13 young teachers under the age of 40. The symposium was presided over by vice dean ZhuYakun.

All the young teachers of the school who attended the symposium spoke freely about the construction and development of the college, their own work, study, life and so on. The young teachers suggested that in the revision of the training plan for the undergraduates majoring in physical education, we should balance the hours of theory and technology according to the characteristics of the major, solving the contradiction between learning and training of the students when encountering sports competition, so that we can approve the job of team training in spare time, and protect and improve the enthusiasm of the training. In discussion about the development of young teachers, they hope to have the opportunity to further improve academic education and participate in various professional training. When talking about difficulties, young teachers focused on dual pressures of life andwork.

School leaders listened attentively and exchanged opinions on interesting topics. Vice dean Zhan Xinhuan, Zhu Yakun and Wan Xiaoming answered the representative questions and puzzles of young teachers at this stage and exchanged their own experiences on growth. Finally, dean Xu xuchuan analyzed and answered the puzzles and questions raised by young teachers one by one, and said that the college will also actively build a talent development platform to fully support the professional growth of young teachers. He pointed out that at the right time for the development of JUFE sports, young teachers should be full of confidence, plan for growth in development, increase their abilities in education, and contribute new contributions. He hoped that all young teachers should integrate their personal efforts with the development of the school, focus on the strategic needs of the country and specific region, seize the opportunity, find the right position, and strive to improve their own teaching and researching level and promote the development of school ofsports.
