On July 6, summer volunteer service team from School of Sports came to Chiping County, visited the Memorial Museum of the Party history in Yuan Lou. The Memorial Museum is not only the Youth educational base and the Red Tourism Base in Chiping County, but also the portrayal of the struggle history of which Chinese Communist Party leading the people from the old society to the new society, from Liberation to a well-off society.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the seeds of revolution were kindled all over the country. Advanced cultural consciousness and revolutionary thought were spread to Yuan Lou village by Guo Qingjiang. Under the leadership of Chinese Communist Party, Yuan Lou's sons and daughters created immortal achievements with brave hardships and bled blood. Yuan Lou people were indomitable, one after another, wrote a magnificent poem with blood and sweat, left a glorious page in Chiping history.

During the visit, the students of the volunteer team listened carefully to the introduction of the old secretary of the memorial museum, Lin Donghua. After the failure of the revolution in 1927, the revolution was temporarily at a low ebb, and the whole country was in a state of white terror. The party called on the people to continue their struggle against the Kuomintang reactionaries. Under the chairmanship of Wang Yinsheng, the head of the Party Committee of Shandong Provincial, the first Communist Party branch in history was established in Boping county. It plays a very important role in Chiping county and the whole west Shandong region. Later, old secretary Lin Donghua told us the story of the Red Revolution in which the villagers of Yuan Lou village took part in the Poli uprising, carried out hidden struggles, peasants supported the front line, and Yuan Lou's sons and daughters. Finally, he praised the revolutionary ancestors of Yuan Lou village for their aspiration, pursuit and indomitable spirit in the liberation struggle. He said that the future of the motherland rests on young people, who are full of vigor and vitality. Young people should inherit and carry forward classic culture, and learn cultural knowledge, inherit red culture, and plan moral behavior.

Over the past 90 years, in the years of revolution and construction, the people of Yuan Lou have forged a glorious history through hard struggle under the leadership of the Party. The students of the volunteer service team paid their respects to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the revolution. They will also remember the history, and they will be guided by Xi Jinping's thought on Socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, work hard for the realization of ChineseDream.
