The1stRed Cross Emergency Rescue Contest at university level in Jiangxi Province was held on July4th. Our University team won 3 individual second prize, 1single third prize and the group total score ranked 3 among 26 strong competitorteams.Our university team was led by the secretary of the Youth League committee XiaXianfengand the secretary of the CPC branch YuSa. Two teachers of the school of sports Yan Wei and Feng Jing were responsible for the guidance and training. The team members selected from the students within our university. The base of the provincial Red Cross Emergency Rescue of our university provide the facilities for months of high standard and intensive training of the team members.

This contestwassponsored byJiangxi province Red Cross andJiangxi provinceEducationDepartmentand held byJiangxiUniversity ofFinance andEconomics. The contest included following projects:adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), field trauma firstaid,field rescue technology, speech,emergencyknowledgecontest,emergencyscenedrills.The contestcarriedon theomni-directionaltestofallteammembers andreflectedthe achievements of construction of the emergency rescue in ourschool. The contest alsoprovided an opportunityformore emergency rescue training development in ourschool.
